3rd year collabroative project part 1: Drawing Space

The idea of this project was to 'draw' in a way that we had never done before. We were asked to immediately work in 3D to get a sense of scale and to make us think outside the box. This was a 5 week project with the finished pieces being two garments which were to be shown in the end of year fashion show. 

We individually had to pick 3 objects that we wanted to draw. I chose a stool, a chair and a column. 

Week 2 consisted of taking these drawn pieces off their objects and putting pen to paper. These drawings were to make us start to think about embroidery and embellishment ideas. 

Now in pairs we had to take our fabric pieces and start to work with them on the mannequin to think about the body and putting it into context.
